Appropriate Avatars & Statuses
Keep profile pictures, display names, bios, and status messages family-friendly. Nudity, graphic violence, hateful imagery, or deliberately offensive profile content is not allowed.
No Swearing
Keep messages clean and respectful. Even though some games featured in the community may carry Teen or Mature ratings, Mesozoic Haven itself maintains a PG-level language standard.
No Spamming
Avoid repetitive posts, flooding channels, automated spam, or repeatedly posting unrelated content.
Fun bursts of activity during organized stream raids may be treated differently, but they should still stay reasonable and match the community atmosphere.
Self-Promotion Is Limited
Members should not repeatedly advertise channels, streams, videos, servers, or other personal projects unless they have the appropriate Creators role.
Creator-role guidelines
- Streamers: generally 500 followers, or 100 followers for a PG-rated channel.
- YouTubers: generally 500 subscribers, or 250 subscribers for a PG-rated channel.
Having permission to share your work does not mean promotion can become spam. Excessive links, repeated advertising, or begging for followers/subscribers may still be removed.
English-Only in General Channels
Please use English in public community channels unless a channel is specifically marked for another language. This keeps moderation and conversation easier to follow for the current community.

Respect All Members
Be kind. Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, targeted personal attacks, and deliberately hostile behavior are not welcome.
Follow Game-Specific Rules
Individual games, servers, or events may have additional guidelines. Check pinned messages or the appropriate game/server information before participating.
Keep Divisive Topics Out of Community Spaces
Mesozoic Haven exists for prehistoric life, gaming, media, streams, and friendly community discussion. Political, ideological, religious, or other highly divisive arguments should be kept out of normal community spaces so conversations do not turn into debates or fights.
Follow Staff Direction
Moderators may step in when something is disrupting the community even if every possible situation is not written word-for-word in these rules. Please follow reasonable staff direction when asked.
Future Updates
Rules may grow with the community
These rules may be updated as Mesozoic Haven adds new games, events, collaborative projects, moderation systems, or other community features.
Possible future additions may include:
- guidelines for collaborative projects or community events,
- special rules for moderation or event roles,
- additional game-specific requirements,
- new guidance for future community platforms or features.
Platform Rules Still Apply
When using Discord, Root, a game server, or another hosted service, that platform's own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and age requirements also apply.
If you have questions about a rule, ask a moderator or check the pinned information in the relevant community channel.
