The Community
What is Mesozoic Haven?
Mesozoic Haven is a friendly dinosaur and prehistoric-life community that brings educational content, dinosaur gaming, streams, media, and conversation together in one place.
The goal is simple: create a welcoming place where dinosaur fans can discover something new, talk about their favorite prehistoric animals, enjoy games together, and relax without the community feeling like either a formal museum database or an over-the-top gaming network.
Think of it as a quiet clearing beside the lagoon: there are plenty of trails to explore, but nobody is rushing you down one of them.
Our Prehistoric Journey
From Jurassic Kingdoms to Mesozoic Haven
The community first launched in 2016 under the name Jurassic Kingdoms, with its early roots around Beam.Pro, which later became Mixer. As the community and Kenson's streaming presence grew, it gradually became more than a single-platform group.
Around the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, it became clear that the Jurassic Kingdoms name was too easy to confuse with Universal's Jurassic franchise and could make the community harder for dinosaur fans to find on its own. The community was renamed Mesozoic Haven to give it a clearer identity of its own.
The new name also fit the broader direction better. Mesozoic Haven is not limited to one movie franchise, or even only dinosaurs. It can comfortably cover prehistoric life, dinosaur and creature-focused games, streams, community projects, and other related discoveries.
Platforms have come and gone since those early Beam and Mixer days, but the core idea has stayed much the same: give dinosaur, gaming, and creature fans a relaxed place to explore, hang out, and share what they enjoy.
Creator & Community Host
About Kenson
Kenson created and runs Mesozoic Haven as a place to share an enthusiasm for dinosaurs, prehistoric creatures, gaming, and community-building.
Streams regularly feature dinosaur and creature-focused games such as Path of Titans, ARK: Survival Evolved, Monster Hunter, and other games that fit the Haven. The atmosphere is intended to stay relaxed and welcoming, with Kenson personally keeping stream language clean even when a game itself may contain stronger content.
Mesozoic Haven is also a place to keep learning. Creature pages and Field Journal posts are written to be approachable rather than overly academic, while still making room for updates as better information becomes available.
Mascot of the Haven
Meet Riptide
Riptide is Mesozoic Haven's grey Spinosaurus mascot and persona, recognizable by dark-red accents on the sail and tail tip.
His personality is calm, warm, playful, patient, and quietly protective. He is the kind of Spinosaurus who would rather point you toward a rawrsome trail than make a fuss about being the biggest creature beside the lagoon.
You may see Riptide in small tips, community messages, themed callouts, and other places where a little personality makes the Haven feel more like its own world.
